Pop Over to "Junior League Uncorked" and Find Out What's on Tap

Springtime Event Pairs Food, Wines, Local Beers and Music to
Benefit East Bay Children at Risk

WHAT:






Join the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, Inc. (JLOEB) for "Junior League
Uncorked
." This Springtime event will educate taste buds by offering a unique sampling of local beer from Pyramid Brewing Company and wine from ten distinctive vineyards from the Napa and Sonoma area. The wines and beers will be paired with themed hors d' oeuvres created by Englund's Catering of Concord as well as dessert stations featuring Starbucks Coffee and biscotti from the JLOEB's award-winning California Fresh Harvest cookbook. Winner of KFOX's "Last Band Standing" competition, "The Groove Kings," will entertain the crowd with live Motown music. A silent auction will feature numerous items, including a romantic stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel. Casual attire recommended.

WHY:




Throughout its 70+ year history, the JLOEB has contributed more than 7
million volunteer hours and approximately $3 million to community agencies in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties that serve vulnerable children and their families. The goal of this event is provide partners and patrons with an event filled with music, fun, great brews and wines, while at the same time make a difference in the lives of East Bay Children at Risk.
