Neiman Marcus Selects JLOEB As One Of Four Benefit Charities

The Junior League of Oakland-East Bay is proud to announce that we have been selected as one of four charities that will benefit from the opening of Neiman Marcus in Walnut Creek in 2012. Neiman Marcus will hold a gala on Thursday, March 8, 2012, with proceeds from the ticket sales benefitting four charities: The Diablo Regional Arts Association, The Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, The Monument Crisis Center and The Taylor Family Foundation. The selection process was extremely competitive, with many worthy non-profits in contention. We are honored that Neiman Marcus chose the Junior League as one of only four charitable beneficiaries for their opening gala.

Neiman Marcus has a proud tradition of giving back to the communities in which they do business, and the East Bay will be no different. The Walnut Creek location will be the company's 7th store in California offering everything from contemporary and modern designers to a jaw-dropping shoe and handbag department, from swanky belts and accessories to adorable kid's clothes.  It will definitely cover all your shopping needs.

Announcing Our New Community Project!

Continuing our emphasis on serving children in need, members recently voted to enter into a community partnership with Loved Twice, a local nonprofit that seeks to clothe newborns in need with recycled baby clothing during their first year of life. Through this partnership, JLOEB will help this organization develop an infrastructure to allow them to double their impact over the next few years.
