FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY

We envision an East Bay where food, clothing, housing and jobs are plentiful—creating a community where families are self-sufficient and thrive.

CURRENT COMMUNITY PARTNER

wfo-logo

The Junior League of Oakland-East Bay community partner for 2016-2018 is Wardrobe for Opportunity (WFO).

WFO’s mission is to work in partnership with the community to assist low-income individuals in their efforts to Find a Job, Keep a Job, and Build a Career.

JLOEB is working to support and strengthen programs provided to WFO clients by participating in donations drives, boutique sales, client styling, and donation sorting. JLOEB is also increasing awareness and understanding of WFO’s mission by providing event support, seeking community partners, and arranging speaking engagements that are mutually beneficial to both organizations.
